The occasion of this booklet was the fact that for 45 years, in the night of 31st of
August to the 1st of September 1957 the trams of the Noord-Zuid-Hollandsche Vervoer Maatschappij
made their last trips from Amsterdam to Haarlem and Zandvoort.
