Article 111105: Dieselelectrische Locomotieven NS-serie 2400 for € 39,80 Big Motorroar and a black smoke plume: This standard-type diesel-electric locomotive from the french firm Alsthom was on duty all over the world. The dutch NS had 130 Machines in service. Together with the dieselengines of the serie 2200 they were over three decades the spine of the dutch goodstraffic. The serie 2400 has driven on almost every kilometer on the dutch railwaysystem. In 1992 the last engines went out of service. Martin van Oostrom wrote this standard-book with many unique pictures and several drawings these engines comes alive again. |
